There is a distinct possiblility you are losing subscribers and don’t even
know it. You could be letting potential subscibers to your opt-in list leave
your squeeze page without getting an opportunity to join.

I don’t know about you but I sure do not need this.

I can only speak for Aweber, because thats all I have ever used. So this
may or may not affect you, you will have to do a little homework.

If your autoresponder service offers a “Javascript Snippet” to add your
autoresponder code to your squeeze page…You could be presenting
a blank page to potential subscribers.

Here’s what is going on:

Firefox is becoming a very popular “Web Browser” especially among the IM niche.
The most popular pluggin downloaded for Firefox is called “AdBlockPlus.”

This awsome pluggin blocks all kinds of advertisements
which slow down your internet browsing. It blocks banners as well as javascripts
that power advertisements. SO it will also block your opt-in form.

What happens is your squeeze page will be BLANK except for the little portion
that asks for name and email (or whatever you choose to ask for when you construct
the form at Aweber). So now you are sending potential subscribers to a blank page
that asks them for the gold you want.

How do you get around this? Simple, opt for the HTML Version and paste that in
like you do the javascript.

Don’t deliberate…decide get on over to your squeeze page and change out the
javascript snippet for the html code.

There are many “Traffic Guru” wannabies who evangelize blog commenting something like this… “Commenting on blogs is one of the top ways to drive hoards of traffic to your site…just surf the BIG blogs leave a comment and the gods will bless you with a traffic jam equivilent to New York at quitting time. ”

What hogwash….Well it tends to be for most internet marketers.

Because most people go about commenting on blogs completely wrong.

If you simply speed post comments on popular blogs to get drive by traffic, you need to cease, pull over and rethink. What are you offering the resultant drive by traffic? Do you have great content waiting? With nothing to make it stick on your blog, where will it go? You may find that there will be a traffic surge, but it will be others coming to laugh at your pathetic attempts.

You will fare much better and for the long term if you concentrate on putting good solid useful content on your blog.

Those fliting visitors that exit as quickly as they arrive do nothing for your sites rankings, and they are not becoming regular visitors that develop a trust and respect for you. You will never get the opportunity to monetize that traffic.

So how do you make blog commenting work in your favor?

Make your comments valuable. The traffic generated will come to your site because it is interested in learning more from you. Then back up your comments with great content that is valuable.

Your ultimate goal is to develop a relationship with your visitors. That positive relationship is what turns your blog into an income stream.

So what do you think? Am I on target or off my rocker?

When new visitors to your site leave, there is a high probability they will not come back, particularly if there is nothing to persuade them to return. Because we are all pretty impulsive on the Internet, it is easy to forget what sites we were at 10 pages later.

So, it is very likely that a passing visitor will not return to your website. If you draw 1,000 visitors to your website, they look leave and never come back, it’s easy to see the revenue you probably lost, all because they were one time visitors. Some of those visitors could have been changed to customers.

You might think that good content will draw people back to your website, usually, good content is not the only answer. The complete answer is to switch your visitors to members of your mailing list or newsletter.

While your visitor is at your site you want to switch them from ordinary visitor to your member by having them sign-up on your mailing list. You do this by asking for their name and email address on a simple opt-in form.

When a visitor switches to be your mailing list member you can keep in contact via email. You have more opportunities to convince your members to look at your offers, or you can show them something else that they may like.

In the end, it is very important to switch visitors to subscribers, visitors are lost, but members give you more opportunities to present your offers and to switch them to customers.

Here are 3 straightforward and easy SEO tips to optimize your site.

1. Add new content regularly

While that may seem obvious, it is really the best way to improve search engine results. There are a number of ways to add content including reviews, testimonials, articles and forums to name a few.

2. Choose the right keywords

Select specific keyword phrases that are relevant to your webpage, rather than general terms. Specific keyword phrases may be searched less frequently but, you will receive more targeted traffic and a higher page rank for these phrases.

3. Linking

To achieve a high search engine ranking it is important to have other sites linking to your site. These can be one way links, or reciprocal links, where you link to another site in return for them linking to you. Internal linking also helps build the prominence of pages within your website.

Of all the types of links, one-way links have the most weight. To obtain more one-way links, writing quality content is the single best way to motivate others to link to you. Additionally, posting on social networking sites, linking to your site, and posting on blogs are other ways you can take control of building links to your website and web pages.

When it comes to improving your search engine ranking there are a lot of little things you can do to boost your page results however the three most important and the strategies you cannot survive without are obtaining links, choosing the right keywords and of course publishing quality content on a regular and consistent basis.

Websites get listed on search engine results only if the search engine spiders are indexing them. If they pass right by your pages, and don’t even know they exist, then you simply will not get listed. You’re probably aware of the basic steps to get search engine spiders “crawling” and indexing your pages, but you might have missed key reasons the spiders are skipping right over your content.

10 reasons search engines might not index your webpage.

Some pages are just not meant to be indexed by the spiders. This may not matter to your overall SEO strategy however it is important to understand what spiders do and don’t index.
Search engine spiders won’t index:

1. Pages only accessible by using a search form
2. Pages that require a log in
3. Pages that require visitors to submit a form
4. Pages that redirect to a different URL before showing content

Pages that spiders often ignore include:

5. Pages with too many outgoing links
6. Pages with complex URLs – these often give spiders an error result
7. Pages which are more than three clicks from the home page, often described as “deep pages”

Other factors that may prevent your web pages from being indexed by search engines:

8. Broken links from your site
9. A webpage that exceeds 105K
10. A slow loading time or a down server.

Finally, if your page is a flash page, search engine spiders just won’t be able to recognize it and won’t index it.

So, as you’re optimizing your website and specific web pages, pay attention to these factors.

The goal, of course, is to be indexed and to achieve first page search engine results.

Hey by now you all know I really like the stuff Jimmy D Brown puts out. I am honored he has allowed me to include this guest article on my blog. I hope you get as much out of it as I did…

Writing ezine articles is one of the best business-building activities you’ll ever invest time in on the Internet. They can be used in dozens of different ways to generate web site traffic, build lists, brand your name, earn affiliate commissions and produce sales of your products and services.

They are, unquestionably, a vital part of any successful Internet marketing campaign.

By now – if you’ve read anything in the member’s area – you know I’m a big believer in writing ezine articles. And you know that I’ve devoted many of the lessons in the member’s area toward teaching you how to write, distribute and market with them.

Yet there still remains a lingering question -

WHAT should I write about in my ezine articles?

I want to share with you some brainstorming ideas that will allow you to easily come up with a couple dozen (or more) hot ideas for your upcoming ezine articles. I’m going to briefly share seven (7) fill-in-the-blank article starters along with a brief explanation to help you get started writing attention-grabbing content.

When you’re ready to write your next ezine article, consider one of these not-yet-overused formulas…

01. What To Do When [Enter Problem Here]. The idea with this article is to offer a solution to an existing problem by matter-of-factly addressing the issue being discussed in the article. “What To Do When You Need To Lose That Last 5 Pounds” points out a problem many dieters face and hints that the article will reveal a method for overcoming this barrier. This article’s pointed style makes it a sure read.

02. Can [Enter Solution Here] Help [Enter Problem Here]? Similar to number one above, this article poses a question while emphasizing both the problem and potential solution. What really works here is to ask a “curiosity-building” question by providing a solution that doesn’t seem to fit with the problem. For example: If you’re trying to re-grow hair on your balding head, could you resist reading, “Can Cheerios Help Thicken Your Hair?” I don’t think so.

03. Should You [Enter Activity Here]? (Take This Quiz). People love quizzes. They especially love to see how they measure up in some area that they are particularly interested in. That combination makes this another ezine article that gets a lot of views. “Should You Quit Your Job And Start An Internet Business? Take This Quiz!” is going to attract every dissatisfied, looking-for-greener-pastures, internet marketing wannabe on the block.

04. 7 “Must Ask Questions” for [Enter Activity Here]. This is a perfect article for the entry-level beginner in any particular field. “7 ‘Must-Ask’ Questions for First-Time Homeschoolers’ When Choosing Curriculum” is just about a guaranteed read for all new homeschooling moms and dads who don’t want to blow it for their kids. (Note: The “number” of must-ask questions can be whatever you choose.)

05. 3 [Enter Topical Adjective Here] Lessons from [Enter Pop Culture Reference]. By using references to popular culture events, characters, television shows, news stories and trends, you’ll be able to get some cheap mileage from existing “hot buttons” of the general public. I recentl wrote an article entitled, “3 Word-Of-Mouth Marketing Lessons From the Academy Awards” that garnered a lot of interest. Guess when I released it? Yep, a week before the big awards show.

06. Mastering [Enter Topic Here]: How to [Enter Tutorial Statement Here] Part 1. This is a superb article idea for a series of related tutorials. The word “master” is a bit overused at times in marketing circles, but it means to “become an expert” at something or to “achieve dominance” over something. Who wouldn’t want to “master” their activity of interest? That’s why “Mastering Weight Loss: How To Shed 12-15 Pounds in 30 Days, Part 1″ and other articles in its mold make for much-read content.

07. What Kind of [Enter Desirable Object Here] Is Best For YOU? We all want what’s “best” for us, don’t we? “What Kind Of Internet Business Is Best For You?” indicates there is something revealed in the article that will allow me to determine which of the options available to me is best suited for me. This is a really solid article to point others towards additional resources (such as special reports, mini-courses, etc.) where they can get specific information about which of the “options” mentioned in the article is most interesting and compatible with them.

So, there you have some great ideas to get you started on your next ezine article.

You know you’re going to write ezine articles, so would you like to get a LOT of completely free traffic with them? Check out “How To Get Free Traffic With Ezine Articles” by clicking here. You’ll learn a powerful (but easy) way to get a lot of visitors to your website by using your ezine articles in a special way … all at no cost to you.

So what do ya think, did you get anything out of this article? Did you get the free report?

Are you looking to attract additional visitors to your website? One of the most powerful ways to do this is through article marketing. Article marketing will allow you to generate a significant traffic increase to your affiliate marketing website. This form of internet marketing can help you effectively attract a steady stream of potential customers and other visitors to your website.

The first step in the process of article marketing is to develop a clearly written informational article. It should provide some value, and should be written strongly enough that it helps to build credibility. A clearly written article makes sure your readers won’t just skim it. By providing an easy read, you will be able to engage your potential customers, giving reason to want more.

To keep the attention of your reader, your article needs to offer some form of value. This is the basic principle behind online article marketing. One example of this concept could be to write an SEO-themed article about how to write effective titles for search engine optimization. A valuable article on this subject would explain the concept and provide numerous examples, giving readers something to take away.

The result of a clearly written article providing value is credibility. Credibility is absolutely vital if you are looking to drive a lot of traffic to your website or to your affiliate products. Some of the best ways to build credibility through your article marketing is to inject your experience into your articles, provide references to findings from professional studies, offer facts, provide industry expertise, quotes and so on.

When a compelling article has been written, you can weave in some kind of reference to your products or services. It is important that you take this step in a modest way if you want your article marketing efforts to be taken seriously. You should not incorporate a hard sell, this doesn’t work. Don’t tell people what to do, what to use, or force them to take your opinions. Just write a clearly written, informative article, provide some value to your reader, and then use your newfound credibility as a way to generate traffic to your website.

Now that you have your article, you can implement on page optimization such as using your keywords in your article title. Your title should be 7 main words most of the time. Your keyword should also be used in most of your paragraphs, though not all are necessary.

Next time we will learn good ways to select appropriate keywords.
