For serious Internet Marketers, you know how hard it is to keep up with everything! Trying to keep up with all of your to do lists can become a real nightmare. It becomes incredibly time consuming to keep up with your calendars, business partners, ad swap partners, and everything else. Serious Internet Marketers know that there is always something that needs to be done.

One of the biggest time wasters is trying to coordinate an ad swap with another marketer. You can waste hours trying to find someone who will swap with you. Once you are done coordinating everything, you have to track the results of your SafeSwaps. All of this can be very time consuming, and you want to automate all of this as much as possible.

Fortunately with all of the statistics on the SafeSwaps calendar, the entire process is automated for you. Your calendar is setup so that other people can automatically schedule ad swaps with you, and you can setup your ads on other lists. The calendar shows you all of the statistics of the results of your ads. You can see your SafeSwaps partner’s list sizes and clicks. There is no way you can get burned on SafeSwaps because everything is out in the open. Every member has their own profile that is synchronized with their Aweber and GetResponse lists to show you the real numbers of people they have on their lists. You can rest easy knowing that someone is telling you the truth when they tell you they have over 13,000 people on their email list.

Because of all the statistics included within the calendar of SafeSwaps, it has saved me a ton of time! I can look at the calendar and see instantly if an ad I ran was successful or not. This saves me hours of analyzing different campaigns to see what is working and what doesn’t. Over time, I can spot trends between my different partners to see which partners have the most responsive lists. I can run more ads because I am saving a lot of time!

There is a distinct possiblility you are losing subscribers and don’t even
know it. You could be letting potential subscibers to your opt-in list leave
your squeeze page without getting an opportunity to join.

I don’t know about you but I sure do not need this.

I can only speak for Aweber, because thats all I have ever used. So this
may or may not affect you, you will have to do a little homework.

If your autoresponder service offers a “Javascript Snippet” to add your
autoresponder code to your squeeze page…You could be presenting
a blank page to potential subscribers.

Here’s what is going on:

Firefox is becoming a very popular “Web Browser” especially among the IM niche.
The most popular pluggin downloaded for Firefox is called “AdBlockPlus.”

This awsome pluggin blocks all kinds of advertisements
which slow down your internet browsing. It blocks banners as well as javascripts
that power advertisements. SO it will also block your opt-in form.

What happens is your squeeze page will be BLANK except for the little portion
that asks for name and email (or whatever you choose to ask for when you construct
the form at Aweber). So now you are sending potential subscribers to a blank page
that asks them for the gold you want.

How do you get around this? Simple, opt for the HTML Version and paste that in
like you do the javascript.

Don’t deliberate…decide get on over to your squeeze page and change out the
javascript snippet for the html code.

You have heard it a million times, maybe even multiples of that…

The Money Is In The List
I would like to add, it is in a well groomed or maintained list.

What I mean by that is; Your list is initially only a bunch of “opt-ins.”
You can draw opt-ins to your list, but they will just occupy
autoresponder space.

They become “a list” when you develop a relationship and trust factor.
You must become a living breathing person to the individual behind
the email address.

That only happens over time and is refined each time you contact the
people on your list.

So with that in mind;

One good way of jumpstarting a list (especially in the IM niche),
or giving it a quick boost is through JV Giveaway events.

Now don’t buy the hype of getting a gazillion new opt-ins from a single
event, but you can get a substantial number of opt-ins.

In a nutshell here is how they work;

-You join as a JV Partner
-You post a freebie
-Someone sees and likes your offer and opts-in to your list to get
the “freebie”

Two factors play in to give you the best opportunity to build your
list this way.

-One is who is sponsoring the JV Giveaway event.
If the sponsor is well known then that in itself will attract traffic to
the event which can translate to opt-ins for you.

-The second is the quality of your freebie.
Your freebie has to be enticing and have good value. You will be
rated by your freebie, its the first exposure to you and your business
ethics.

Where do I get these quality freebies?
-Make your own
Making your own could be as simple as converting a PLR product to
building it from scratch.
-Buy a product with giveaway rights.

Lately I have been getting my PLR and MRR products from here

==> Master Resell Rights

(Yeup its a membership site, but I just cant say enough about it.
And lately I have noticed it seems to be the source for products of
a number of other PLR/MRR membership sites.)

I have found a number of items that can be used for these events and
offer an ability to upsell.

There is a grand giveaway event starting the middle of November here

==> 100 Percent Giveaway

The administrators put this event on yearly and I had very good
results last year with it.

The upgrage, which allows you to triple your exposure is less than
$10.00, which you do not have to go for (I did on this event) There
are other benefits if you do which you can read about at the site.

After you get the new opt-ins to your list you should share who you
are and what you can do for your newest members. Do this through an
autoresponder series or newsletter.

Then you too will be able to echo…

The Money Is In The Maintained List

You hear about it all the time “You’ve got to have a list…” but there’s a big difference between having a list and having a profitable list.

I’d rather have the second, any time!

I’ve got a surprise for you. One of the guys who practically invented list-building online, Jimmy D. Brown, has agreed to let me post an except from his course List PROFIT System, which is a fantastic course for beginners. It really should be recommended reading for anyone starting an online business, in my opinion!

After you read this excerpt, be sure to grab Jimmy’s FREE report “Six Steps To Six Figures With List Marketing” at this link: Six Steps To Six Figures

But, first — I’ll share a few pages of the actual paid course.

—–

Excerpt from List PROFIT System
by Jimmy D. Brown

PART 3: Seven Opt-in Triggers That Get Subscribers Like Crazy

You can have all the right “ingredients” to an opt-in page (the things we just talked about in the previous section) and still not get great results. It’s how you put everything together that counts.

So, that’s what I want to share with you now.

You’re about to get the benefit of results from more than five years of tweaking and testing (and tweaking and testing some more!) the opt-in process. I don’t know if there’s anyone who’s been doing THIS longer than I have. I was using a mini-site to get subscribers since back in 1999 – back when list-building pretty much meant having a link on your site that said, “To join my list, click here.”

While there are a gazillion variations and distinctions, there are some basic “triggers” that I’ve found really do dramatically improve your opt-in rate.

There are seven of them…

Note: The first three are very basic, but I’ll be revealing some ideas that you’ve probably not considered before…so read them anyway. The final four are more “advanced” in nature. You’ll find that only those “in the know” are using them. Add your name to the list.

1. Offer Real Perceived Value. Years ago I went to the late Corey Rudl’s web site and he was giving away a free subscription (like everyone else) to his newsletter. What made his different than the rest? It had a simple notice near the subscription form reading, “$197.00 value”.

Instant perceived value at the time. (That’s not the case now with everyone putting inflated “values” on their free offers).

The point is this…you can CREATE perceived value. Here’s how.

- UNIQUENESS. One way to do this is through your own “unique” approach to your free offer. You can say the same thing as someone else in a totally different way and see a marked difference in responses.

For example: “$600 cash back” is NOT the same as “A year’s worth of free gas” to someone about to buy a car. (Especially today with gas prices rocketing skyward in leaps and bounds!) “A year’s worth of free gas” has a much higher “perceived” value even though its monetary value is the same.

What makes your list unique?

—–

I *highly* recommend you grab the FREE report “Six Steps To Six Figures With List Marketing” at this link: Six Steps To Six Figures

It’ll give you an overview of the essential pieces involved in profitable list marketing. Miss even one of them and you could be working way too hard for too little money.

Sometimes internet marketers join together to give freebies to their opt-in lists and to give opportunity to each joint venture partner to build their own opt-in list.

It works like this, each joint venture partner has a squeeze page associated with a free gift they are offering in the giveaway event. All of these gifts are listed on one site. Each partner emails links for site to their own opt-in list. Then the members of those lists go to the site and click on a free offer. They are taken to the squeeze page where they supply their name and email address to receive the free gift.

The idea behind this giveaway is that people are interested in more than one thing. They may have a main focus, but they probably also have secondary interests and the joint venture giveaway may have something for that interest.

The main objective of participating in joint venture giveaways is for all of the marketers to build their opt-in lists.

The best joint venture giveaways are those you are invited to contribute to.

The joint venture giveaways listed at http://ScottThrall.com/giveaway-events/ are invitations for all my readers.
