Lesson Learned – Check, DoubleCheck and ReCheck my links
Before I get too far into this, let me give a big thank you to Richard Moloney for brining broken links to my attention.
So I bought “resell rights” to WordPress Guru which explains how to install “WordPress” on your domain, and gives some pointers for plugins, posts, and traffic ideas. A very good ebook to get your blog up and running.
Well I quickly put this up online, offering to share it with anyone through this blog who wanted it. Because blogs are the lifeblood of our business plan at this point.
Ooops…didn’t check the links through my landing page and one time offer page…when I adjusted the links on my server I did not check them on the listed pages, and Ta-Da…No Such Page comes up…
Double ooops…didn’t double check the “corrected” link before directing my customer to the “fix” and repeat of above Ta-Da…
So moral of the story…check your links….actually follow the path through your promotion, sales page, one time offer, download page. You name it if you have it…test it. Better yet…have a trusted friend test you links.
Or do like I did…don’t properly test and then you can meet a nice fellow who will let you know something is amiss…probably not the best business minded way to do it…but it worked this time…

Hi, my name is Paull Hamilton and I am also a student of Alex. I just thought I would say Hi. I have been so busy trying to catch up with everything that Alex is teaching us that I haven’t had time for anything else. Isn’t Alex fantastic? I just cannot believe how much I am learning. I love your blog. Would you please add my site to your blogroll, you are now on mine. Thanks Paull

Hello Scott
I too am a fellow student and I’m particularly pleased at how he has helped me ‘focus’. I still don’t follow my daily plan to the letter but I’m getting better at it.
I like your header and “Building a Business Online One Step at A Time” – a great slogan.
I’ve added you to my blogroll. Hope you’ll reciprocate
Best Wishes
Joe
Hey Scott,
Great website, and a great lesson learned.
I always try and check my links, but sometimes one bad links always happen to pop up.
I really like your blog theme here–it looks really clean and clear.
Stay tune for my traffic videos this week on my blog–and let me know if I can do anything to help!
