How I Got to Here
How did I get to this point, I admit its not too terribly far, and what are my plans?
First I have been “tinkering” with building a business online for quite some time and many many dollars were spent on the latest greatest idea. And I will interject that not one of those “ideas” were probably in an of themselves bad. The major point of failure was my lack of focus. I “shotgunned” this from the start.
I have written articles, tried adsense, tried ppc ventures and a slew of other things. I have even written an ebook called Kids Internet Safety Blueprint But like I said, too many projects and no focus.
What do I mean by “focus”? I never laid out a plan to follow. That is the number one thing I have taken from Alex. Set out a long term plan, break it down all the way to short term then make a ‘To Do’ list.
That is excellent advise when coupled with the other component Alex promotes…
WORK THE PLAN…
So bottom line here, as a reminder to my fellow ‘budding gurus’ and me… Fail forward by working the plan, massage it ever so often, but work the plan.
So here I am working the plan up to this point, we are only at Module #3.
Those of you who were not lucky enough to get Alex as a mentor, don’t be too sad… Through my blog and the blogs of my fellow students you will learn what we learn.

Great post! I really like the way you sound like a real person haha..I find that a lot of people try and come off too professional sometimes and its too robotic. I wrote a post about story telling and how important it is to your business. Im about to do my about me page, and Im going to keep this stuff in mind!!! I just added YOU to my blogroll keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!!
Scott,
I am like you I have been online and tried many types of marketing. As a matter of fact I still have several projects in the works. I have however decided to put everything on hold except Alex’s coaching program.
I want to put my best effort into this coaching to follow through to the end. I can put the rest of my projects in the same format if this proves to be a winner. I really believe I can turn what Alex is teaching me into a real profitable venture.
I am defiantly giving 100% on this program. I hope everyone does well and thanks for stopping by my blog.
David
Hi Scott,

Cheers,
Carl.
Hey Scott,
Thanks for your comment on my blog, I will add you to the blogroll
I just finished the 1st draft of my first ebook and
I wondered if you could help me?
I get many questions a day on my blog and by email about
blog related topics. So the book I am putting together
answers most of these, but I would like to know if you
can think of anything else that could be included. Even
better would be any questions you want answered.
The ebook covers WordPress settings, changing the header,
widgets, plugings, adding aweber, adsense, adverts and more.
I have just posted on my blog so if you can think of anything else
I should cover, please leave a comment.
Thanks!
Mark
