After reviewing my blog…I am going to set up some definite categories. By that I mean one for blogging, article writing, list-building tips etc. Don’t hold me to the categories right this second. I am still researching so I can keep the number of categories to a minimum, but not limit the content.
The category section will act like a running index so to speak. I think this will make it much easier for my visitors to navigate the blog. It will give everyone a chance to refer back to a post and keep a dialoge in the comments.
So what do you think? Good idea, bad idea, doesn’t matter…

Before I get too far into this, let me give a big thank you to Richard Moloney for brining broken links to my attention.
So I bought “resell rights” to WordPress Guru which explains how to install “WordPress” on your domain, and gives some pointers for plugins, posts, and traffic ideas. A very good ebook to get your blog up and running.
Well I quickly put this up online, offering to share it with anyone through this blog who wanted it. Because blogs are the lifeblood of our business plan at this point.
Ooops…didn’t check the links through my landing page and one time offer page…when I adjusted the links on my server I did not check them on the listed pages, and Ta-Da…No Such Page comes up…
Double ooops…didn’t double check the “corrected” link before directing my customer to the “fix” and repeat of above Ta-Da…
So moral of the story…check your links….actually follow the path through your promotion, sales page, one time offer, download page. You name it if you have it…test it. Better yet…have a trusted friend test you links.
Or do like I did…don’t properly test and then you can meet a nice fellow who will let you know something is amiss…probably not the best business minded way to do it…but it worked this time…

How did I get to this point, I admit its not too terribly far, and what are my plans?
First I have been “tinkering” with building a business online for quite some time and many many dollars were spent on the latest greatest idea. And I will interject that not one of those “ideas” were probably in an of themselves bad. The major point of failure was my lack of focus. I “shotgunned” this from the start.
I have written articles, tried adsense, tried ppc ventures and a slew of other things. I have even written an ebook called Kids Internet Safety Blueprint But like I said, too many projects and no focus.
What do I mean by “focus”? I never laid out a plan to follow. That is the number one thing I have taken from Alex. Set out a long term plan, break it down all the way to short term then make a ‘To Do’ list.
That is excellent advise when coupled with the other component Alex promotes…
WORK THE PLAN…
So bottom line here, as a reminder to my fellow ‘budding gurus’ and me… Fail forward by working the plan, massage it ever so often, but work the plan.
So here I am working the plan up to this point, we are only at Module #3.
Those of you who were not lucky enough to get Alex as a mentor, don’t be too sad… Through my blog and the blogs of my fellow students you will learn what we learn.

I think I may have given the wrong impression, I think I indicated Garry Parkes newletter would only be beneficial to the Alex Jeffreys students. Garry says in his introduction that this newsletter is geared to the newbie to online marketing.
I am willing to bet dollars to donuts that there will be gems to be mined for even the most advanced marketer.
So I suggest you follow my lead and run on over to Garrys blog by going to http://www.garryparkes.com

After attending Alex Jeffreys Module #3 training session last night it has become crystal clear to me that blogging is one of THE most important ways to develop your online presense.
It can also be a self regulator. By that I mean it will make you accountable. For example, If I know that I am developing a readership I owe it to you as that reader to offer good information. If I owe that to you then I will have to continue to learn and grow my abilities.
I came across a great little document that shows how to get moving with a blog. It focuses on WordPress as the vehicle. I went off and bought the Master Resell Rights so that I can offer it FREE here.
So if ya would like it, its yours fill out the form below please

I am new to internet marketing. I have been very fortunate and have scored Alex Jeffreys as my coach.
The purpose of this blog is to journal my experiences.
So for now I will leave the post at this. I want to find a nicer look for the blog, compile my thoughts and an update will be on the way shortly.
