50 New Members to my List Yeserday
I am not bragging, I just wanted to share my success and hope it is an inspiration to you.
I added 50 new members to my opt in list on the 26th of December.
What did I do…I joined a “Giveaway” event. Check out my page for available giveaways. I am using one of those right now, and the other kicks off New Years.
I have also added 7 members through my Twitter account (see previous post for details).
And I have implemented several of the traffic generators found in the freebie advertised on my blogs sidebar.
So right now I have two lists, so I could keep track of what was going on and where… The total for the two lists is 73 people.
I am not feeling too bad, I just started the blog on 8 December 2008, I just had the launch of a giveaway event, and the Twitter Listbuilding plan has only been in place for 4 days.
So bottom line…as Alex coined…”Fail Forward”

Many small and seemingly insignificant steps add up to results.
I like the fact that you are tracking with different lists. I agree that knowing what is working and what is not can be HUGE! If you don’t mind, I would like to use that strategy as well.

What do you know. I ended up pulling an all nighter to catch up on my traffic pulling strategies and came accross your site (I was visiting everyone who placed a comment on my blog to get their twitter account to add it up on my brand new page Twitter Land) and couldn’t help myself but get very excited at the fact that if I followed your steps with a bit of my usual Brazilian luck I could get some results.
Well it is 5:58am right now and I have just finished all the steps on the twitter later or whatever that is called + the gmail account to foward all the emails to.
Traffic pulling methodology aside (tks again for the help). I just wanted to mention to you how exciting it’s to be working along side someone that might help me in one of my new year resolution, which is to became more active within the English Catholic community. I am trying to organise my baby’s Baptism for the 18th of January. Julia attends a Catholic school (St Thomas of Canterbury here in Twydall, Gillingham) and I would love nothing else then manage to indroduce my babies to some seriously needed Christian values.
I am not by no measure a fanatic and haven’t practice for absolute ages but say my prayers frequently and can assure anyone doubteful soul that I am always blessed. Even at dark times..
